About my
Home & Pet Sitting service.

Going away – even for a few days – has its disadvantages. If you leave your home unoccupied, it is increasingly at the risk of burglary or weather damage; and if you are a pet owner, you are probably reluctant to use kennels or catteries.

Tetbury & Stow on the wold Help (formally GL55 help) was established in 2001 specifically to resolve these problems by providing a Local live-in caretaking service, available throughout the year.

I know that successful Home & Pet Sitting requires scrupulous attention to detail - nothing must be left to chance. So at Tetbury Help, I am meticulously conscientious, and sensible, and motivated mainly by job satisfaction; and ensure security, look after possessions and pets, and provide routine home and garden maintenance on each assignment.

Allowing relative strangers to look after your home, possessions and pets may seem rather a novel idea; some of my clients have told me that they were a bit doubtful about using my service for the first time! However, they soon adopted me as an essential part of going away. Over 95% of new clients re-book within two years and many of them have been with me since 2001.

My Charge for this service is £25.00 per 24 hour day, = £1.05p per hour.
Plus a £5.00 per day food allowance
My Charge for the full 7 day week (168 hours) = £185.00 saving you £25.00.
I also have a charge for 6pm > 8am ( to be advised when booking).
I do not employ anyone, I do the service myself.

Seasonal tidy up or regular garden maintenance
Lawn care & cutting, Hedge cutting, Planting,
Patios, Pergolas, Decking, Fencing,

The Charge for this service is £12.50 per hour for the 1st 2 hours, £10.00 for the next 2 hours, then £7.50 for the next 2 hours , my working time frame is 10:00 am > 16:00, 4 pm = 6 hrs, so my full day = 6 hrs would cost you £60.00.

Painting & Decorating

All types of Interior & Exterior Decorating undertaken, with 35 years City and Guilds experience.

The Charge for this service is £12.50 per hour for the 1st 2 hours, £10.00 for the next 2 hours, then £7.50 for the next 2 hours , my working time frame is 10:00 am > 16:00, 4 pm = 6 hrs, so my full day = 6hrs would cost you £60.00.

Driving Solutions

These trips must be in your car, with me on your Insurance as a named Driver.

The Charge for this service is £40.00 per day (10:00 > 16:00 pm) in your car and on your insurance as a named driver. ( extra hours can be available & £5.00 per hour.)

Financial transaction recording, invoice and receipt data entry, monthly reporting, tax returns.
